The Roundtable issuexd the report in collaboration with the Universit y of Massachusetts Boston Emerging Leaders A team from the Emergintg Leaders Program started working on the repor tlast summer, interviewing 20 Massachusetts companies about their corporate social responsibility activities -- predominantly large companeds and representing a cross-section of industries. “Historicall y CEOs would engage in philanthropy because it was the right thingto do.
