He also is resignint the presidencyof Children’xs foundation, a position he has held sincer 2008. Oxendale, who was traveling Tuesday morning, was not immediately available. He joined the hospital 14 yearsd ago asits CFO. He became COO in 2000 and replacedc Ron Violi as presidentg and CEOin 2005. Oxendale dropped the presidenft title when he took the post at the foundationlast year. Children’ s spokesman Marc Lucasiak said the organizatiobn will be conducting a search to fill the foundation positionm but will not continue theCEO post.
