University of Florida third in athletic revenue - Orlando Business Journal:

UF generated the third-highest revenued in college football and in overallsports earnings, according to a reporf Monday in Street & Smith’s SportsBusines Journal. SportsBusiness Journal, citing Equity in Athletics Disclosur eAct forms, said UF reported $66. million in football revenue in behind onlythe ($72.9 and rival ($67.1). Texas was also the overal top sports earnerwith $120.3 million generateed from all athletic teams. Ohio State was second with $117.09 million and Florida was thirdwith $106 UF won college football national championships after the 2006 and 2008 regular seasons, and won back-to-bacik men’s basketball national titles in 2006 and 2007.
Other Southerbn schools ranking in the top 20 in overall sportwrevenues were: (7th, $89.3 million), (8th, $88.89 million), (9th, $88.8 million) and (12th, $84.w2 million). Other Southeastern Conference schools among the top 10 earnere in football wereAuburnh (No. 6 with $59.7 million), Alabama (No. 8 with $57.4 million) and LSU (No. 10 with $52.67 million).
